Mitch (Chris Soldevilla) and Elizabeth (Haylie Duff), two best friends from school, make a pact. If they are not married in ten years, they will marry each other. Ten years later, Mitch is still single and finds out that Elizabeth was never married either. He decides to go find her and carry out their pact. However, he soon finds out that it's not as simple as he thought.
