Nelson Potter is the mastermind behind the bank robberies he and his father Sam commit. With Nelson's brains and Sam's muscles, everything runs smoothly. But Lilly, Sam's ex-girlfriend, is jealous. One day, after a successful robbery, the men walk straight into the arms of the police. Sam is immediately arrested, but Nelson is released because he is mistaken for an innocent hostage. Lilly is pleased because now she can put Nelson to work for herself.
