3 Generations plot

"A Family In Transition"

Ray, a New York teen struggling with her gender identity, and her single mother Maggie try to find Ray's biological father to sign the papers for Ray's gender reassignment. Meanwhile, Maggie's mother Dolly, a music executive who is in a lesbian relationship with Frances, struggles with Ray's decision and Maggie's inability to leave the house she grew up in.
