Winchell plot
"He didn't report the news ... he made it."
Biography of the legendary and controversial columnist Walter Winchell (1897 - 1972), who was constantly at the center of attention because he liked to reveal scandals and spicy details from the private lives of movie stars, while also warning about Hitler. In the 1930s he gets a program on the radio that becomes very popular and is listened to by millions of Americans. Unfortunately, Winchell didn't have a very neat lifestyle of his own, and he hooked up with a well-known New York nightlife woman, an actress.
