Socrate plot

Rossellini made for television film about one of the most famous philosophers of all time, Socrates. Rosselini loosely uses Plato's works "Euthyphro", "The Apology", "Crito" and "Phaedo" to outline Socrates' last years and does so almost entirely in terms of Socratic dialogues. We see the philosopher in the film wandering through ancient Athens, followed by a small band of followers, trying to bring the people to reason, thus antagonizing those in power.
