Satyajit Ray plot

Shyam Benegal's documentary was shot by his regular cameraman Govind Nihalani and we see Satyajit Ray at work (this was the period when he was recovering from his first heart attack) on the set of 'Ghaire-Baire' from 1984, based on a novel by Rabindranath tagore. Benegal's documentary begins with what is, for the most part, observation mode and gradually leads to an extended interview with Satyajit Ray himself. Much of what he says is shown in a series of fascinating clips from Benegal's exceptionally broad body of work.
