Ludwig II. plot

Soon after taking office, King Ludwig II (OW Fischer) feels very unhappy and seeks distraction in the fine arts such as music and dance. When he turns to Empress Elisabeth of Austria (Ruth Leuwerik) for advice and comfort in total loneliness, his government is vehemently against it. King Ludwig is silenced and virtually a prisoner in his castle Schloß Berg.
