"The life story of music icon Udo Lindenberg who revolutionized the German music industry."
As a little boy, Udo Lindenberg receives a drum set as a gift from his father. When he is twenty, he is building a career in the rock world. But it won't really work. Only when he starts singing songs in German does he know success. Although the relationship with his loyal girlfriend Steffi is in jeopardy.
