"Soldier. Sinner. Saint."
This film tells the extraordinary story of Ignatius de Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit Order. He grew up as the son of a Spanish nobleman, led the Spanish troops several times as a soldier and regularly narrowly escaped death. He lives in a world of heroism, debauchery and tough pride. When he stays in hospital for a long time, seriously injured in his leg, he comes into contact with literature about the life of Jesus. It turns out to be the beginning of a radical change in his life.
