Early 1970s. Two oil tankers violently collide off the coast of San Francisco. Millions of liters of crude oil subsequently cause an environmental disaster. Against all odds, truck and construction contractor Charlie Walker wins one of the most lucrative contracts to clean the coastline. With just three trucks, an incredible work ethic and a good heart, Charlie sets out to save the San Francisco Bay. At the same time, he fights the institutional racism of the company that hired him.
