Che Strano Chiamarsi Federico plot
"Scola narrates Fellini"
When he was nine years old, Ettore Scola read the newspaper to his blind grandfather. Little did he realize at the time that he would soon be friends with one of the journalists, whose articles he devoured. The newspaper belonged to the influential Marc'Aurelio, the writer was Federico Fellini, and the year was 1939. Fellini then made a living as a journalist just before he started writing screenplays and then became a film director. Scola was destined to walk in the Grandmaster's footsteps. Thus began a long relationship between two icons of post-war Italian cinema.
