"The Woman of Sorrows"
Bergen was a cult Turkish singer of Arabesque music in Turkey. She has become a symbol of the fight against violence against women. This biographical film follows her life and her music. She was abused by her husband, whom she later divorced. These experiences had disastrous consequences for her.
