Alma & Oskar plot
For a long time, Alma Mahler was seen exclusively as the wife of composer Gustav Mahler and mistress of various artists from Vienna around the First World War. But Alma was also a gifted composer who put her own ambitions aside for her domineering husband. After his death, Alma had an intense short-lived affair with the expressionist painter Oskar Kokoschka.
