Wata no Kuni Hoshi plot
After two-month-old kitten Chibi-neko is abandoned by her previous owners, she is found by 18-year-old Tokyo. Although his mother is allergic to cats and terrified of them, Tokyo is allowed to keep her. Chibi-neko soon falls in love with Tokyo. In her mind she thinks she is human and also talks like a human, but everyone around her hears only her meowing. One day she meets a stray cat who tells her about a paradise called Cottonland, where all dreams can come true.
