Thumbelina plot
"The version children love!"
The dam, where Thumbelina (Thumblin') and her father live, is about to break. Father is worried and afraid that if the ice water starts to melt in the spring, the dam will probably burst. The little people who live in Tulpenweide will drown. They need to be warned but Father is too old for the trip and sends Thumbelina. She meets a variety of characters on her journey, but not everyone is nice.
