The Old Curiosity Shop plot

The classic story by Charles Dickens about a young girl and her grandfather who live in difficult circumstances. Little Nell lives with her grandfather and together they run an antique shop. Grandpa likes to gamble but he hardly ever wins anything. As a result, he comes into the grasp of Mr. Quilp who lends him money. Eager to take over the shop, Quilp has a crush on Little Nell.
