The Little Mermaid plot
Lena, a young mermaid princess, lives carefree somewhere deep in the sea until she falls hopelessly in love with a young man from the mainland, Prince Stefan. The evil Cassandra is her only chance at becoming a 'human being' like Stefan, but she wants Lena's sweet voice as payment for her services. She adds that when Stefan marries someone else, Lena will remain a mermaid forever.
