The Canterville Ghost plot
An American family inherits an old English castle. The castle has not been abandoned but is still inhabited by the ghost of Simon de Canterville. The ghost pulls out all the stops to scare away the new owners. The ghost befriends young Virginia, she holds the key to Simon's freedom.
