Tank plot

On September 15, 1916, during the Battle of the Somme, the British were the first to use tanks in an attempt to break out of the trench warfare. Deploying this new weapon was a hellish experience for both the trench defenders and the tank crew. Both for Private Otto in his trench and for Johny in his tank, all their sentimental preoccupations come to an end.
