When Mystery Inc. Going to Nowhere, Kansas to find Scooby-Doo, they track down a strange and cursed object. At Muriel and Eustace Bagge's ranch, a hub of supernatural events, they meet the frightened dog Courage. The group soon clashes with a giant cicada monster and her winged warriors.
