Shunmao Monogatari Taotao plot

The little panda bear Tao Tao lives with his mother in a valley of the Min-Min Mountains in China. He really enjoys it there and plays with his friends Kiki the monkey, Puu the hare and the squirrel Puru. One day, hunters appear in the valley and Tao Tao loses his mother in flight. The panda bear is all alone but meets a cute panda female that he falls in love with. Later, the fighters return and capture Tao Tao. He is sold to a zoo. Although the animal nurse Mary is very nice, he does everything to return home.
