"For a Decade, he's tried to bury his past...Now his past returns to bury him!"

Standalone film of the Rurouni Kenshin (samurai X) series. Himura Kenshin witnesses a street fight in which a man (Shigure) and his female companion (Toki) are attacked by a group of strangers. Of course this fight is won and Himura continues to hang out with them. Later, however, it turns out that Himura is carrying a secret from the past that pertains to Shigure and Toki.
