During a well-deserved beach vacation, Mitsuru's father calls everyone to him. He reveals that the Dark Hour and the Shadows are the result of a failed experiment where Mitsuru's grandfather tried to make a time machine. Mitsuru's father also has a video showing how to defeat the Dark Hour by destroying the 12 Arcane Shadows. That's all Mitsuru and her friends need to take on the Dark Hour.
