"PABLO is an animated biography that takes us through the exhilarating saga of design legend Pablo Ferro."

In the lavishly designed, largely animated documentary 'Pablo', Goldweight paints a lively portrait of the renowned title designer, artist and bohemian Pablo Ferro. Ferro, born in Cuba in 1935, moved to America in 1947 and later went to work at a design studio, where he further developed his completely unique style - with an emphasis on (handwritten) typography and lightning-fast editing. The breakthrough came when Stanley Kubrick asked him to create a trailer and title sequence for "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb'.
