Man's Best Friend plot

A hunter and his sniffer dog have been hunting all day and decide to call it a day. They settle into the hunter’s hut and go to their separate beds (with the hunter promising to continue hunting early the next morning, much to the dog’s horror). Anyway, the dog settles into bed but is kept awake all night by distractions.
