In a multicolored version of Los Angeles where corporate logos and mascots rule, an Esso waitress takes a smoke break. At the same time, a homicidal, gun-toting Ronald McDonald wreaks havoc in a car chase down the busy highways. Meanwhile, an earthquake also seems to be taking place, according to the seismographs.
