A giant breaks his teeth on the eve of St. Feast Day, the great festival of the giants. A magician messes up his trick of cutting a woman in half and loses his assistant's legs. A hiker gets stuck in an elevator for days. An old man falls in love with a pair of runaway legs. A mother entrusts her children to the neighbor on the evening of the holiday. In an apartment building, the intertwined fortunes of ten real neighbors or neighbors of neighbors are central. They struggle with the dramas, pleasures, surprises and dangers of everyday life.
