New York, Miriam et Moi plot

New York, 1941. Twelve-year-old Steven Mayer suddenly loses sight of his father, Wolf, who is being pursued by two men in hats through the vast Central Station. Now left to fend for himself, Steven discovers that the FBI suspects Wolf of spying for the Nazi government. With the help of Miriam, a spirited 14-year-old Austrian-Jewish girl, they search for his missing father and find themselves in a kaleidoscopic world of spies and secrets. In this metropolis that never sleeps, their search for the truth takes them further than they have ever been.
