Leave Well Enough Alone plot

Popeye feels sorry for the puppies in the window of Olive's pet shop, buys all the animals (mostly dogs) and sets them all free. Except for one bird, who refuses to fly away and sings the theme song to explain why he's having a great time in the shop. We see that the dogs don't do so well after that and are picked up by the dog catcher and taken to the dog shelter. Popeye arrives there in time and takes them all back to their cages in the pet shop…
