Laura is excited: She is allowed to travel to China with her family. Laura's mother is going to give a concert there. Of course Laura's best friend goes with the star, but he disappears without a trace during the trip. The Chinese girl Ling-Ling found the star and took it with her. Fortunately for Laura, Ling-Ling's aunt plays with Laura's mother during the concert, and Laura and Ling-Ling meet during the concert. The star is so happy to see Laura again that the star accidentally bumps into a dragon costume...and the costume comes to life!
