Joulupukki ja Noitarumpu plot

A few days before Christmas, the somewhat flu-like Santa finds a letter from a boy named Rascal in his mail bag. Who is this Rascal and why was the letter stamped 50 years ago? Not much later he hears a strange drum sound, which is repeated over and over. Every time the sound is heard, a little accident happens to Santa. Not very serious but someone is apparently trying to tease the old man.
