Jasmine plot

"A story of love and revolution emerging from plasticine ..."

A French filmmaker in the 1970s meets Iranian student Jasmine, a romantic event that will change his life. More than thirty years later, he uses material from his archive (old letters, films and plasticine characters from his very first animation films) to create a personal film that zooms in on Tehran's turbulent history. As the Iranian revolution flares up, the residents of the capital are equally trying to find their own love and freedom.
