Black Beauty plot

"Adapted from Anna Sewell's classic tale."

Mr Gordon buys a beautiful black foal. The young stallion is stabled at Berwick Park, where John Manley takes good care of the horses. The children give the cute horse a name: Black Beauty. Despite the warm stable and good food, Black Beauty cannot forget the freedom he once enjoyed, but the traumatic childhood experiences of Ginger, a graceful mare, make him resigned to his fate. He is happy with his caretakers and their children until he and Ginger change hands: they come into the possession of the grumpy Lady Westmond.
