Balladen om Holger Danske plot

Holger the Dane is born at the court of Sigfred, king of the Danes. At the same time, Charlemagne collects all the tribes to send them from Aachen in all directions of Europe. Little Holger is taken hostage when the Danes refuse to surrender. Holger ascends to the Frankish court where he is trained as a knight.
