A semi-fictional journey through Quebec, the birthplace of filmmaker Félix Dufour-Laperrière. The filmmaker investigates what exactly makes a community. Is it because we give it words, or maybe because we tell stories about it? An attempt is made to answer this question with old images and contemporary impressions.
