Zwölf Meter ohne Kopf plot
1401, East Frisia. The good days of the dreaded sea pirates Klaus Störtebeker and Gödeke Michels seem to be coming to an end. Störtebeker was badly injured in an attempted hijacking, however, leaving the pirates as good as defeated. Their ship has sunk and Störtebeker is ravaged by fear and doubts about his existence as a pirate. He is attracted to the pretty country girl Bille, and Michels is given a ticket by the Frisian princess Okka. The moment the rest of the pirates revolt, and Michels is at his wits' end, there seems to be a solution...
