Under Crimson Skies plot
Yank Barstow is the captain of a freighter bound for South America. On board are Vance Clayton, his wife Helen and their daughter Peg. Vance claims he's accompanying a load of pianos. Captain Barstow discovers that Vance's crates contain rebel ammunition, but he keeps his mouth shut, having fallen in love with Helen in the meantime. When he wants to dock with his ship in the harbor, Captain Barstow is arrested and sentenced to five years in prison.
