Treasure Island plot
In the luggage of their drunken hotel guest Bones, Jim Hawkins and his mother find a mysterious map that points to a pirate treasure. They take the map to Dr. Livesey, who has a boat available. They leave for the island with Jim as the cabin boy, Captain Smollet at the wheel and Long John Silver, with the wooden leg, as the ship's cook. It just so happens that Jim learns of the nefarious plan of Silver and his band of pirates who want to get their hands on the loot.
