The Seekers plot

Around 1820, a group of English settlers want to start a new life in New Zealand. Sailor Phillip Wayne and Marion Southey play an important role in this group, who struggle to maintain the English way of life in the primitive environment. Clashes with locals and dubious settlers eventually lead to a tragic, but expected climax.
