The Road to Freedom plot

The film is based on the true story of movie legend Errol Flynn's son and actor Sean. In 1970, Sean leaves Hollywood to seek his fortune as a photojournalist for a TIME Magazine assignment. Sean (Joshua Fredric Smith) and Dana (Scott Maguire) head into the jungle to create a story about war-torn Cambodia during the Vietnam War. However, they are captured by the Khmer Rouge guerrillas and never seen again.
