Secret agents Walter Prescott and Dorothy Dale hunt down bandits who use the Caswell Shipping Company as a cover for their illegal smuggling activities. The smuggling route appears to extend from Egypt to California. Walter and Dorothy are confronted with the secret of 'The Black Coin' in their search. Twelve black coins together form a map with the location of a treasure.
