During the days of the Alaskan gold rush, a baby girl is rescued from Stark Bennett, a cruel father, by kind sailor Gale Gaylord, when her mother, a full-blooded Indian, dies aboard the ship. Necia is raised unaware of her half-Indian heritage until she is about to marry Meade Burrell, a U.S. Army officer. The discovery of her origins makes her decide to return to her father.
