The Bandit Queen plot

"She Sought Revenge With a WHIP...a GUN...a KISS!"

Zarra Montalvo (Barbara Britton) returns to her native California to meet her parents again. She is just in time to see her parents murdered by Sheriff Jim Harden (Barton MacLane), who is after their farm and their gold. Under the name Lola Belmont, an American visitor from Detroit, Zarra teams up with Joaquin Murietta (Philip Reed), who takes the name Carlos del Rio. They become a sort of Robin Hood, who now takes revenge on Harden's gang to return the stolen gold to its rightful owners.
