Drakan plans to invade the Highlands and will destroy any chance of a respectable and independent life, both in the Highlands and the villages. Dina, Nico and the family live a dangerous nomadic life. Dina meets a mysterious stranger - her father, Sezuan. But when Davin and Nico are trapped in the dreaded Sagisburg, Dina is forced to embark on a perilous journey with Sezuan to free them. Sezuan is a master with the power to show people illusions; Dina discovers that she possesses his abilities in addition to her own supernatural abilities.
