When dog owner and trainer Judy Weston crashes her private jet in Canada's rugged terrain, her dog Show rescues her and her handler, dog trainer Ben. However, Judy's other dog Smoky escapes and he is found by thieves Mort Gunning and 'Red' Fargo. Gunning and Fargo train Smoky so he can help them rob fox farms. After a theft at the Freeman Fox Farm belonging to Rod and his young son Billy Freeman, Judy is the prime suspect because her dog Smoky was recognized in the robbery.
