Shalimar plot
The thief Kumar, on the run from the police, finds an invitation for Raja Bahadur Singh to visit Sir John Locksley's island. But Raja is shot dead and Kumar decides to pose as him and go to the island. He is soon unmasked and turns out to be among a couple of master criminals. However, he is allowed to join Locksley's plan to steal a diamond, the Shalimar. Because Locksley is dying of cancer, he wants to select his most worthy successor in this way.
