Notorious pirate Long John Silver embarks on a new adventure at sea when he learns that bloodthirsty Captain Mendoza and his crew have hijacked a ship carrying the governor's daughter and Silver's old friend Jim Hawkins. Since Hawkins is in possession of a unique medallion and a ransom is demanded for the girl, Silver and the governor decide to devise a plan to capture Mendoza.
