Remote Control plot

A radio announcer works on the same station as a fake psychic who ostensibly answers fan letters on the air, but is actually sending coded messages to his gang about impending bank robberies. The psychic turns out to be a real slick guy and wins the love of the girl that the announcer has secretly loved for a long time. To prevent the announcer from winning her over, the crook orders him to be kidnapped.
