Poznan 56 plot

When strikes start and the workers leave the factory, Zenek has his back against the wall. He is dragged into a whirlwind of events by Stach, one of the activists. His son Piotrek is out with a friend in the heart of the city. Both are twelve years old and the city promises them adventures like they have never experienced before. When the peaceful demonstration turns into violence and the first shots are fired, the adventure takes on a deadly character.
