Paradise Isle plot
"SHE LONGED FOR HIS STRONG ARMS! Tighter and tighter he held her as the dark night drew closer about them---and then as their lips met they knew they could not live without each other - even though love was denied them!"
A blind artist is on his way to Java for an operation that will restore his sight. But then his ship sinks and he ends up on a tropical island. A resident of the island finds him and begins to care for him. The woman's friend prefers to see the artist disappear so that he has her all to himself. The only other white man on the island wants the artist gone, too, so he can surreptitiously take her most prized possession—a large black pearl.
